Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the site. Similar technologies — including local storage, pixels, and SDKs in our mobile apps — work in comparable ways and are covered by this Policy. The usage statistics of our iPhone and Android apps are the exception: they are described in Section 4 of the Privacy Policy, not here.

Strictly necessary

Required for the Platform to function: authentication, session management, security, load balancing, language and currency selection, and recording your cookie preferences. These cannot be switched off.

Functional

Remember choices you make and enhance the experience, such as saved searches and preferred filters. Off by default; loaded only with your consent.

Analytics

Help us understand how Users interact with the Platform so we can improve it. We use PostHog for this purpose; the data is processed on servers in the United States. On the website it is off by default and loaded only with your consent. Our iPhone and Android apps use no cookies; what they send to PostHog, without a cookie question, is described in Section 4 of the Privacy Policy.

Marketing and advertising

We do not currently run any advertising or campaign-measurement cookies. If we add them — for example a Meta or Google advertising tag — they would sit in this category: off by default, and loaded only with your consent.

Third-party embeds

An interactive map (e.g. Mapbox or Google Maps) is integral to browsing and searching properties and loads as part of that core functionality. Other optional embeds we may add — such as video players — load only with your consent.

You can change which categories of cookies Vesty may set at any time with the "Manage cookie preferences" button at the top of this page (the "Cookies" link in the footer leads here). Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off. If you want to know exactly which cookies a category sets, email legal@joinvesty.com and we will tell you.

Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the Platform. All other categories are set only with your consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive, GDPR, and equivalent national laws. This applies to cookies on the website; the legal basis for the usage statistics in our apps is in Section 3 of the Privacy Policy.

You can accept, reject, or customise cookies at any time with the "Manage cookie preferences" button at the top of this page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — note that doing so may break parts of the Platform. Useful guides:
